Ayanna Antoine
Ayanna Antoine is the Founder and CEO of Best Kept Secret Skincare, LLC. By day she works as a Human Resources Professional but outside of work hours, she continues to grow the business whose mission is to leverage natural ingredients in providing an affordable avenue for combatting skin issues and maintaining long-lasting moisture. Best Kept Secret (BKS) was born from a recognized need and its alignment with an internal desire. Growing up in a Haitian household, Ayanna was raised with the ideals that self-love extends to the way one cares for their own body. Her pride in maintaining radiant skin grew to a desire to extend the same excitement to individuals, especially black people, who may not always see the beauty of their skin. It’s the “Best Kept Secret” because it’s hidden in plain sight. Using the gifts that that nature has given for centuries, BKS is excited to provide an experience of radiance, moisture and affordability to empower self-care.
Dr. Andrea Gentry-Apple
A native of Columbus, Ohio and proud graduate of the illustrious North Carolina A&T State University Dr. Andrea Gentry-Apple is a veterinarian that has made her mark in helping underrepresented students pursue their dream of becoming a veterinarian. In her role as the Coordinator of Veterinary Education at her alma mater, she aims to provide quality education to her undergraduate students. As a new mother, she strives to find the balance between a career professional, mother, and wife. As anyone can tell you this balance is not easy. Her job is consuming and her husband is her greatest cheerleader and support. Dr. Gentry-Apple is dynamic, always seeking opportunities to better herself and others around her. She truly is a work in progress.
ADia Gaskins
A’Dia Gaskins received her bachelor’s degree from North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State University and a Master of Business Administration from Trinity Washington University. During the day, the DC native enjoys her work in Compensation and Performance Management. Other times, she is immersed in a good book, experiencing new cuisine, or planning her next adventure. Traveling as a little girl provided an early start to her passion- learning about other cultures. A perfect day for A’Dia is waking up in a different city or country or time at the beach. She currently resides in the city that she loves most.
Jennine Jones
Jennine Jones is a Program Analyst with the U.S. Department of State. In her spare time, she enjoys trying new restaurants, traveling (when the world is open) and visiting new wineries and vineyards. Jennine resides in Northern Virginia with her husband and their Morkie, Max, and their one year old son, Grayson.
Kiara Anthony, Chief Communications Officer
Kiara Anthony is an established content developer, communicator and creative. She is a proud graduate of Towson University, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communication in 2013. She then pursued her master’s degree in Communications at Trinity Washington University, graduating in 2015. Within her professional career, Kiara has written and edited for entertainment blogs, nonprofit websites and online magazines, all following search engine optimization (SEO) best practices. Her communications background blends well with her knack for technical writing, ensuring client content communicates effectively and expertly to various audiences. She currently serves as a Communications Specialist within the healthtech industry. Personally, Kiara is an active member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated, devoted to the principles of Scholarship, Service, Sisterhood and Finer Womanhood. She continues to follow her commitment to community service within her dedication to The LadyBUGS, a 501c(3) mentoring organization committed to ensuring every girl is empowered and works to empower others. Most recently she joined The Loveliness Network, LLC (TLN), a dedicated platform focused on elevating the voices of Black women through storytelling. As TLN’s Chief Communication Officer, Kiara helps bring the brand to life through creative content, communication strategy and a dash of personality.
Kelsey Armstrong, Chief Marketing Officer
Kelsey A. Armstrong is a southern bell from North Carolina. Kelsey received her bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Mass Communication with a concentration in broadcast production from North Carolina A&T State University and her master’s degree in public relations from Syracuse University. She is currently pursuing her doctorate in communications from Liberty University. She is currently a communications specialist for Cooperative Extension at N.C. A&T with expertise in social media management, analytics, strategy, and content creation. In her free time, she loves crafting, dancing, and true-crime TV. Kelsey is committed to community service, dedicating her time and communications know-how as the Chief Marketing Officer to The LadyBUGS, a 501c(3) mentoring organization committed to ensuring every girl is empowered and works to empower others. She also serves in the same role with The Loveliness Network LLC, a dedicated platform focused on elevating the voices of Black women through storytelling.
Dr. Khalyn Solomon
Dr. Khalyn Solomon is a pediatric speech-language pathologist and owner of The Speech Exchange and Language Therapy, Inc. Her clinical experience includes treating patients with language delays/disorders, voice and fluency disorders, articulation disorders, Autism, and intellectual disabilities including Down syndrome. Khalyn received her B.A. in Speech-Language Pathology from North Carolina A&T State University, her M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology from Florida State University, and her Doctorate in Speech-Language Pathology from Northwestern University. At Northwestern, Khalyn’s culminating research project focused on “Guiding Speech and Language Assessment Principles for Underserved Pediatric Populations”. The project offered an in-depth look into what current speech diagnostic practices may be affecting intervention qualifications for the underserved pediatric community. She is passionate about advocating for the equal rights of all children within the speech and language profession. Originally from Atlanta, GA, this is Khalyn’s fourth year living in Southern California where she additionally serves as a school-based speech-language pathologist. She enjoys traveling, trying different restaurants, and exploring new and exciting places here in the Golden State.
Kentona Tinsley
Kentona Tinsley earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University in 2018. At North Carolina A&T State University, Kentona served as Junior Class Secretary, Senior Class Queen, and an Aggie Success Leader. She is a Spring 2016 initiate into the Alpha Mu Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. She recently earned her Master’s degree in Criminal Justice at Kennesaw State University and works as a Senior Business Immigration Analyst at a Law Firm in Atlanta, GA.

Megan King
Megan D. King, SHRM-SCP, is a Human Resources professional passionate about people, strategy, and creative big picture approaches. Megan currently works within marketing, advertising and entertainment- Driving strategy, engagement, D&I, and leveraging HR for sustainable growth. At work, home and in her community, Megan’s goal is to make an impact. Megan recently joined Detroit’s entrepreneurial scene with two business ventures- Royal Luxe Event Design, a boutique event planning company and Liquid Lush, a luxury mobile bartending company. Megan consistently gives back via multiple community organizations with the Midnight Golf Program closest to her heart. Megan volunteers with the program, mentoring during the school year and annually chaperones a weeklong college tour inclusive of HBCU’s. Megan built her career foundation at non-profits and tech startups in the Bay Area, recently returning to Michigan. Megan is currently an MBA candidate at Michigan State University and member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.

Tatiana Tinsley Dorsey, Chief Executive Officer
Tatiana Tinsley Dorsey is a graduate from North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State University in 2011 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology, she later pursued a master's degree in Human Resources Management graduating in 2014. Currently residing in The Greater Atlanta Area, Tatiana works in the industry of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. She is dedicated to creating inclusive and equitable working environments where employees feel welcomed and bring their "whole-selves" to work, and having the opportunity to grow, contribute and develop. A member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, committed to Scholarship, Service and Sisterhood. Tatiana continues her commitment of community service and sisterhood advancement within her ownership and operation of The Loveliness Network, LLC a dedicated platform to elevate the voices of Black women through the power of storytelling and The LadyBUGS, a 501c(3) mentoring organization with a mission to Build, Uplift and Guide our Sisters, ensuring every girl is empowered, specifically targeting those of marginalized groups. Personally, Tatiana is married to her college sweetheart, Donald Dorsey. The two are proud parents of a very active toddler, Dillon Blake (and a fur baby Bella).
TaQiyyah Floyd
TaQiyyah Floyd is an educator and aspiring author who can’t help but to write novels for text messages. A woman that loves all movie genres except for horror, playing sports or any physical fitness activity and helping people. She claims Mitchellville, Maryland and Charlotte, North Carolina where she currently resides as home. In 2013 she graduated with a bachelor of science degree from North Carolina A&T State University. Her most recent accomplishment to date was the opportunity to work and live in Japan. She believes answering the question of what do you want to be should come with several responses. Why not be a combination of all the things you enjoy? You can be the lawyer, the baker and an artist. The idea of acquiring jobs within her multiple interests and finding her way to accomplishing various things while enjoying life is her primary focus.
T’Keyah Gray, Chief Operating Officer
T’Keyah Gray is an accomplished human resources professional with a knack for talent and recruitment. She is a graduate of the North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State University where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Psychology in 2014. She went on to obtain a master’s degree in Human Resources Management in 2016 from the University of Maryland Global Campus. T’Keyah currently serves in the federal government as a Human Resources professional, specializing in recruitment, staffing and procedures. Personally, she is an active member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated devoted to the principles of Scholarship, Service, Sisterhood and Finer Womanhood. She continues to follow her commitment to community service within her dedication to The LadyBUGS, a 501c(3) mentoring organization committed to ensuring every girl is empowered and works to empower others. Most recently, she co-founded The Loveliness Network LLC, a dedicated platform focused on elevating the voices of Black women through storytelling.
Tanisha Marklalnd
Tanisha Markland was born and raised in Westchester County, New York. She received multiple degrees throughout her years of education and views her degree in Childhood education as the most valuable because it aligns with her purpose. She is a Dual- Certified Educator. She is certified in Elementary School Education and Early Childhood Special Education. Her entrepreneurial journey has taken her beyond the classroom environment generating multiple streams of income and coaching others through some of the processes she has taken. She is the Founder of the I am Influential Brand. This brand consists of a travel agency that specializes in multi-generational travel and a non-profit organization for children ages 8-18. She’s inspired by the children in this world and deliberate about being a lifelong learner. Her life’s work is to educate those around her by being an example, providing opportunities and the space to explore life.
